Do supplements really help you build muscle and lose fat or are they just a waste of your hard earned money? What if you could gain 5 pounds in 3 weeks without buying tons of supplements?

Are you trying to build muscle and burn fat but there are too many supplements and diets to choose from? Do you want to know how I gained 5 pounds of pure muscle in 3 weeks? Do you want to learn how to get abs and muscles with this proven diet and burn fat?

Now this is directed towards first time body builders and those of you who are starting out without a clue where to go! What I mean in the title of this article is that the weight loss, metabolism, fat burning, super power promise supplements are not the key to getting the body you want.

Let’s start by saying there are nutritional supplements that effectively help muscle recovery aiding in more sustained and prolonged workouts that lead to faster muscle gain. So yes some do work, but let’s start with a clean diet plan and go from there.   

First eating a clean diet will help your body build what you need. Protein and carbohydrates in the right amounts and at the right times will help you workout longer and stronger. Here’s an example of what my routine looks like:

Morning 6:30 am: Quick oats with 4--6 egg whites, raisins and organic cane sugar. You can even sprinkle some hemp protein on top, but don’t heat it.

Snack 10:00am: Cut up orange with half a cup of cottage cheese, and a peanut butter and jam sandwich on sugar free bread. Organic peanut butter with no sugar or hydrogenated oils! Try a rye bread or organic grain bread.

Lunch 12:00pm: Pasta and an oat bar or other cereal bar with nuts and seeds.

Snack 3:00:  Yogurt, banana and granola, mixed together.

Dinner 5:00pm: Whatever you want but make it healthy.

Vegetarian Diet Weight Loss
nner, alternating between cardio and muscle toning. 

Protein shake: One cup of quick oats, one scoop of vanilla whey protein, rice milk, strawberries.

Now keep in mind the above mentioned menu is based on a strict vegetarian diet, while watching ingredients carefully for hydrogenated oils, msg and any flavourings, and no white sugar.

These are harmful toxins to a body, especially if you are expecting it to grow and build muscle, these added ingredients will only wear you down and make you tired and crave all the wrong things. Even be selective of your whey powder, some proteins have added flavourings and sugars that you don’t need.

I wrote this diet out because it worked for me very quickly, I am a lean guy and find it hard to gain weight, but this combined with my consistent workouts put me up 5 lbs in three weeks. It does not seem like much? It is, for the weight gain was pure muscle. This is a healthy easy alternative to pumping full of expensive products without any guarantees.
